Our story
How we ended up doing all three
S-Tech started as an RFID and barcode hardware business. Clients kept asking for the same thing: the hardware was fine, but the software that came with it did not fit how they worked. So we started writing it.
Today the business has three parts that reinforce each other. Twenty-two ready software products, built RFID-first for healthcare, retail, logistics, education, business, access control, events and messaging. The full RFID and auto-ID hardware catalogue, supplied, installed and commissioned. And an engineering team that builds custom software, integrates any device, delivers AI and machine learning workflows, and designs and manufactures printed circuit boards.
Being the same company across all three is the point. When a gate does not read reliably, there is no argument about whether it is the tag, the antenna, the reader or the software — it is all ours, and we fix it.
We work with clients across India in more than twenty states and union territories, from single-showroom jewellers to multi-site manufacturers, hospitals, schools, housing societies and government institutions.

To make automatic identification practical for ordinary Indian businesses — not just for enterprises with an IT department — by supplying the hardware, the software and the engineering as one accountable package.

Five things we hold to
Written down because they cost us money sometimes, and we would rather be held to them than quietly drop them.
Test before you promise
We run read-rate trials on your own goods before we commit to a number. A promise made from a datasheet is not worth anything on a shop floor.
Say the hard thing early
If barcode is the right answer, we say so. If your data is not good enough for the AI project, we say so before you spend money on it.
One accountable supplier
Hardware and software from the same team means faults get fixed instead of debated.
Build for the site, not the demo
Unreliable power, no internet, dusty hands and wet floors are the normal case in our work, so they are designed for rather than apologised for.
