RFID Inlays & Labels

Printable smart labels and the inlays behind them

6 types listedSupplied & commissionedBulk & OEM available

A smart label is a normal-looking printed label with an RFID inlay inside it. It prints and sticks like any label, and it also reads at several metres without line of sight. This is the cheapest way to bring RFID into a supply chain, because it replaces a label you are already buying.

In plain words

An inlay is the antenna and chip on a thin film, before it becomes a label. A wet inlay has adhesive on the back and gets laminated into a label. A dry inlay has no adhesive and gets built into a card or a product. A finished smart label is a printable face, an inlay and adhesive in one.

Pre-printed and pre-encoded

Supplied already printed with your branding and encoded with your numbering, so the site just peels and sticks.

Solutions that use it

Compatible software

What it runs with

It also works with software we did not write. We integrate at protocol level, so this hardware can be driven from your own system — that is a service we offer.

Bulk, MOQ and OEM

Inlays are supplied by the reel. Converted labels have a minimum order per die and per face material. Custom sizes need a one-time die charge, which we waive above a volume — ask when you enquire.
