Hardware
Count a room, find one tag, work anywhere
A handheld reader is what turns a stock-take from a shutdown into a walk. It reads hundreds of tags a second while you move, it finds one specific tag with a Geiger-counter search, and it works where no fixed reader will ever be installed — a yard, a customer site, a ward, a showroom.
A handheld RFID reader is a rugged Android computer with a UHF reader inside it, or a sled that clips onto a phone. Our software runs on the device, so counting works with no network and syncs afterwards.

Model names and exact specifications change as manufacturers revise their ranges. These are indicative — your quotation carries the current specification.

What you get from us
The S-Tech Android app is installed on the handheld, so counting, searching and reconciling happen on the device rather than in a spreadsheet afterwards.
Reads are stored on the handheld and sync when it is back on Wi-Fi or 4G. A basement or a yard with no signal is not a problem.
Search mode turns the reader into a proximity finder that gets louder as you approach the item you are looking for.
Every terminal we supply also reads 1D and 2D barcodes, so mixed environments work on one device.

Compatible software
It also works with software we did not write. We integrate at protocol level, so this hardware can be driven from your own system — that is a service we offer.
Handhelds are supplied with the S-Tech Android application, chargers, spare batteries and a device management setup. Ask about buy-back and rental where you need devices only for an annual audit.
