S-Tech HMS is a desktop system for human and veterinary hospitals. A patient — or a pet and its pet parent — is registered once, and that record carries through appointments, the live doctor queue, the OPD workspace, admission to a ward or kennel, and the billing desk, with grooming and boarding added for veterinary hospitals. Prescriptions go to the pharmacy counter and lab referrals go to the lab workstation without paper. The apps run on Windows and macOS and talk to a server inside the hospital, so the day keeps going without an internet connection. A hospital profile switches terminology and modules between human and veterinary use, so each hospital sees only what applies to it.

What we hear
Reception, the consult room, the pharmacy and billing each keep their own register, so the same patient is typed in again at every counter and charges go missing from the final bill.
The waiting room has no order to it. Nobody can see which doctor is on duty, who is next or how long the queue is.
For admitted patients, bed days, fluids and medicines are added up by hand at discharge, which is slow and is where money is lost.
Prescriptions and lab requests travel on paper, so the pharmacy and the lab work from handwriting and results come back late.

Every deployment turns on the modules you need. Nothing here is a separate purchase unless the plan says so.
Patient registration
Patient records with demographics, contact and photo. In veterinary mode, pet and owner records add species, breed, weight, colour, microchip, rabies tag, neuter status, temperament tags and an uploaded vaccination card. Each patient gets a dated ID such as STD-20261015-00042.
Appointments & live queue
OPD, vaccination, grooming and hostelling bookings, emergency intake and check-in. The queue board groups today’s patients by on-duty doctor and shift, and a separate display app shows the queue in the waiting area.
OPD workspace
Presenting complaint with quick chips, vitals that flag out-of-range values, history, a freehand examination canvas that can sit over an X-ray image, SOAP notes, treatment and follow-up, prescriptions from the pharmacy catalogue and test referrals. Notes autosave.
Admissions, wards & discharge
Admissions, wards, beds and kennels, a live occupancy grid, daily vitals, bed charges added automatically each day, a discharge desk, NOC issue and revoke, and DAMA consent.
Billing desk
Service catalogue with prices, one bill per patient episode, part payments by cash, card or UPI, refunds, voids, discounts that need permission, coupons and offers, and printed bills.
Pharmacy link & inventory
Doctors’ prescriptions wait in Pending Rx for the pharmacy counter. Products, batches, expiry dates, barcode labels, suppliers, stock adjustments and an activity log share one catalogue with S-Tech PMS.
Lab & radiology referrals
Doctors refer tests to pathology or radiology. Reports are uploaded against the referral, pathology test ranges are set per species, and results from S-Tech LMS close the referral and its bill.
Grooming, boarding & vaccinations
Veterinary mode: a grooming board from waiting to delivered, kennel check-in that requires vaccination to be verified, care logs and running charges, and vaccination records with a due list.
Accounting
Collection by cash, card and UPI, expenses, profit and loss, a GST summary by rate slab for pharmacy sales, and outstanding bills. Hospital and pharmacy figures can be viewed together or apart, with CSV export.
Staff, HR & attendance
Staff records with eleven roles and a per-user permission editor, attendance with breaks, leave requests, shifts, payroll runs and payslips.
WhatsApp & patient app
WhatsApp messages for bookings, bills, payments, vaccination due dates and grooming or boarding pick-up. HMS also manages the patient (pet parent) mobile app: appointment types, slot blocks, coupons, home layout and pet stores.
Security, audit & exports
Audit log with field-level history, session control, device lock with a webcam photo on flagged logins, an inactivity lock, and Excel exports of patients, appointments, admissions, bills, referrals and more.

A note on wording: where we say "fully offline" we mean the system runs on a local server on your own network with no internet connection, and syncs when one returns. Where we say "secure" we mean encrypted data, role-based access, a full audit trail and backups you control. We would rather be specific than round it up to 100%.

Before you ask us
The things buyers actually check. If your question is not here, ask it — we answer honestly, including when the answer is no.
Can it run without the internet?
Yes. The server runs inside the hospital and the desktop apps find it on the local network automatically. The internet is only needed for WhatsApp messages and the optional cloud backup mirror.
Is it for human or veterinary hospitals?
Both. A hospital profile switches terminology and modules: human hospitals work with patients, and veterinary hospitals work with pets and pet parents and also get grooming, boarding and vaccinations.
Does it use RFID?
Not out of the box. Patients are identified by their patient ID and stock by barcode labels. RFID wristbands or tags can be added as a project on top of the same records.
Who owns the data?
You do. The database sits on the hospital server. If you switch on the backup mirror, a copy is also kept in a MongoDB Atlas cluster you control.
How do the pharmacy and lab connect?
S-Tech PMS and S-Tech LMS use the same server. Prescriptions appear in the pharmacy’s Pending Rx list, and lab results sent from the LMS close the referral and notify the doctor.
Can we switch modules off?
Yes. Each of the 16 modules can be on or off for an installation, and a module that is off disappears from the menus and is blocked on the server too.
