Frequently asked questions

Grouped by what people actually ask about. If your question is not here, ask it — we answer honestly, including when the answer is no.

Software

Are your products ready to use or built from scratch?

All 22 are ready SaaS products with the process already built in. Every one is then customised to fit how you actually work — fields, forms, reports and workflows. When nothing on the list fits, our Universal Platform is configured to your process, or we build custom software.

Can we get the software under our own brand?

Yes. Every product is available white-label — your logo, colours, product name, domain and app store listing. Partners sell our products as their own.

Which operating systems do they run on?

Web, Windows, macOS, Linux, Ubuntu, Unix and Android. Parent and resident apps also ship on iOS.

Do we get the source code?

For custom software built for you, yes. For our SaaS products, no — you get the software, your data and the right to export it in full at any time. Source code escrow can be discussed for enterprise contracts.

Hardware

Do we have to buy hardware from you?

No. Our software works with any make of RFID hardware. Most clients buy from us because we then own the read rates end to end, but you are free to source elsewhere.

How do I know which tag to use?

You do not have to guess. We run a read-rate trial on your actual product, packaging and orientation before you order a quantity. That trial is the cheapest part of the project and it prevents the expensive mistake.

Do you install and commission, or just supply?

Both. Most projects are supplied and commissioned by us with documented read rates. Integrators who do their own installation can buy hardware alone.

Is your hardware compliant for use in India?

Yes. UHF readers are supplied configured for the 865–867 MHz band permitted in India, at the correct power limits.

Deployment

Cloud or our own server?

Either. Cloud is faster to start and needs no IT. Self-hosted keeps the database inside your building, which many hospitals, government bodies and factories require. The software is the same.

Does it really work with no internet?

Yes. On a self-hosted install the system runs on your local network with no internet at all. Readers and handhelds buffer locally and sync when a connection returns.

What happens to our data if we stop being a customer?

You export it in full. It is your data and there is no lock-in clause that says otherwise.

How long does a deployment take?

A single-site product deployment is typically 4 to 10 weeks. A multi-site enterprise platform is phased site by site. Content, data migration and tagging are usually what set the timeline, not the software.

Support

What support is included?

A warranty period after go-live is included with every deployment. After that, an annual maintenance contract covers support, fixes, small enhancements and a defined response time.

Do you support hardware you supplied?

Yes. We service what we sell, with standby units available under an AMC rather than sending you to the manufacturer.

Who trains our staff?

We do, by role rather than on the whole system. Front desk, ward, store and management each get the training that applies to them.

Can you take over a system someone else built?

Yes. We audit the code and infrastructure first and tell you honestly whether it should be maintained or rebuilt before you commit either way.

Pricing

Do you publish prices?

Software plan tiers are described on each product page. Actual pricing depends on modules, users, sites and deployment, so it is quoted. Hardware is always quoted, because the tag and reader mix is specific to your site.

Is it a one-time cost or a subscription?

Both models are available. Cloud deployments are usually subscription. Self-hosted deployments are usually a licence plus an annual maintenance contract. We will show you both so you can compare.

What is not included in a quote?

We state it explicitly: tagging labour, civil work, network cabling and any third-party licences are called out separately rather than hidden in a total.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. You will get an answer from someone who works on these systems, not from a form response.
