Wherever a card is used there has to be something to read it: a desktop reader at an enrolment counter, an embedded module inside a kiosk, a wall reader at a door. We supply contact, contactless and combination readers, with the drivers and the integration into our software already done.

In plain words

A device that powers a card's chip and exchanges data with it — by contact through the gold pads, or contactlessly over 13.56 MHz. Readers connect over USB, serial, Wiegand or Ethernet depending on where they are used.
