Where the read rate is actually won
People buy readers and argue about tags, and then the installation underperforms because of the antennas. Gain, polarisation, beam width and mounting angle decide what actually gets read. We select and position antennas from the geometry of your doorway, lane or shelf — not from a catalogue default.
The antenna is the part that sends the radio energy out and picks the tag replies up. A circular-polarised antenna reads tags at any orientation, which suits mixed goods. A linear antenna reads further but only when the tag is aligned, which suits a controlled conveyor.
The range
Model names and exact specifications change as manufacturers revise their ranges. These are indicative — your quotation carries the current specification.

What you get from us
We work out beam coverage from your door width, ceiling height and traffic direction before recommending a gain and an angle.
Stray reads from the next aisle or the next lane are the most common cause of bad data. Antenna choice and shielding is how we stop it.
Correct-length low-loss cable, connectors and mounts supplied. A long thin cable can lose more signal than a reader upgrade gains.
IP67 and IP68 options for gates, yards, washdown areas and cold stores.

Compatible software
It also works with software we did not write. We integrate at protocol level, so this hardware can be driven from your own system — that is a service we offer.
Antennas are quoted with cables, mounts and the site survey that decides where they go. We are happy to supply antennas alone to integrators who do their own commissioning.
